My story

 WITH YOGA

I've been practising yoga since 2015, and my journey began during my travels through Southeast Asia. Inspired by a woman whose story of using yoga to manage her anxiety resonated deeply with my own experiences, I stepped into a local studio in Bali—and I was hooked.

Over the years, I've explored various styles, including Hatha Yoga, Hot Yoga, Forrest Yoga, Yin, Restorative, and Ashtanga, continually deepening my personal practice.

Through this time, yoga became a source of strength for me through life's challenges, especially after being diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis in 2022. This experience helped me discover the true depth of yoga, not just as a physical practice but as a journey of self-acceptance and embracing imperfections.

In 2023, I completed my yoga teacher training in Goa, driven by a desire to share the magic of yoga with others. My teaching is grounded in the belief that yoga offers much more than just physical benefits—it's a holistic practice that nurtures both body and mind, helping us navigate life's ups and downs with greater balance and compassion.

We Are Sage

Yoga to make the most of your everyday

Our Purpose

We aim to help you bring awareness to your body and mind through the practice of yoga, so you can make the most of your everyday.

 Our goals

 Small Steps, Big Impact

Yoga isn't a cure-all, but it can make meaningful strides in our mental and physical wellness, enhancing our everyday lives.

Philosophical Foundations

Exploring the guiding principles of yoga and yoga beyond the mat for a more enriched practice and life.

Community and Connection

Creating a yoga community bound by shared experiences, nature's rhythms, and a deeper self-understanding through movement, meditation, and mantra.

Our Teaching Philosophy

We teach classes and share content that explores all aspects of yoga, not just the physical. Because yoga is so much more than just what you practice on the mat. It's a lifestyle.

 Adaptations â€‹

We always offer adaptations in classes and hope this empowers you to move in a way that suits your body, in this class and the next.

 Embrace your needs

We always encourage you to embrace whatever feels right for you in an given moment. We encourage you to remember and accept that each day is different. As are what our bodies and minds need each day.

 Layers

We aim to teach in layers, starting with the most accessible and offering suggestions or opportunities to 'level up' or 'adapt'. By this, we don't always mean harder, or for those who can't do the 'full' posture, we just mean different. Whether it's lifting the back knee in a Lunge, adding in a twist or not, or using props or not.

 It's your practice

We always offer, and don't request. Your yoga practice is just that, yours! It isn't for anyone else, it doesn't belong to anyone else and you don't have to do anything or everything your teacher asks. It's your body, your mind, your choice. Want to sit in child's pose or savasana the whole practice? Go for it! If that's what you need, to be in a calm, community space and just rest, we welcome that.
