TIPS FOR YOUR FIRST YOGA CLASS
New to yoga?
What you wear
Wear something comfy, and that you feel free to move in. Layers can be helpful too!
Try to arrive early
Aim to arrive 5 to 10 mins before class. Give yourself time to find us, ask questions & settle onto the mat.
Do not disturb
Pop your phone on silent and tuck it away in your bag or coat pocket. Your class is your time and we encourage you to remain present in the class.
Injuries
Let your teacher know about any injuries or niggles you may have. There are lots of ways to adapt yoga to your needs, and we're passionate about helping you on your journey.
Before entering
Please leave your shoes and coats on the rack to help keep our studio tidy and distraction free.
Be kind to yourself
Trying something new can often feel scary or daunting - that's ok! It's ok to wobble or ask questions or feel like you're not getting it. The most important thing is to give it a go.
